We take great care stretching paintings on canvas or linen. The application of paint, age of the painting and quality of the cloth are all taken into consideration so that the proper tension will be applied during stretching. We always prefer to staple the canvas on the back of the stretcher bar, but when there is not enough extra canvas, we will staple on the sides.
Each piece that enters our shop gets museum-quality treatment using only archival, acid-free materials and conservation techniques trusted by major institutions.
